Keep it first-hand, useful and about the class. Honest criticism is welcome.

Student review submissions are not open yet. These rules explain what will be expected when they are.
Write about your own experience
When submissions are available, review a course or instructor you personally studied with. Describe teaching, workload, feedback, assignments, grading expectations or classroom experience. Be specific about what happened and distinguish a personal opinion from a claim of fact. Do not invent experiences or use generated text to impersonate another student.
Keep the review connected to the correct school, course, instructor and period. One person should not submit duplicate ratings for the same experience or coordinate a campaign to distort a record. An instructor must not pose as a student reviewing themselves or a colleague.
What does not belong
- Threats, targeted harassment, hate speech, sexualized personal commentary, or attacks on someone’s appearance or protected characteristics.
- Private contact details, another student’s name or grades, student IDs, credentials, medical information, or other sensitive personal information.
- Fabricated allegations, impersonation, plagiarism, spam, paid ratings, undisclosed material conflicts, or review trading.
- Exam answers, unauthorized assignments or documents, or content you do not have the right to publish.
Focus criticism on the educational experience. A negative opinion is not a policy violation merely because its subject disagrees. Do not use a review as an emergency report or a substitute for reporting misconduct through appropriate institutional or legal channels. Contact emergency services for immediate danger.
How moderation works
Submitted reviews must be approved before publication. Moderation considers relevance, authenticity, privacy, rights and these rules, without favoring positive over negative sentiment. A review may be held for clarification or declined. Approval does not certify that a factual allegation is true.
We may remove personal information or make limited formatting changes; we will not rewrite a review to reverse its sentiment or invent supporting claims. Materially changed content should be returned to its author or removed. No payment buys a favorable review or the removal of a policy-compliant unfavorable one.
A school email, when verification is offered, confirms control of an address. It is not proof of taking a particular class. Review counts and summaries must describe the reviews actually included. Any minimum-publication threshold must be disclosed where you submit.
Public feedback and private verification
A published review can be read, indexed and copied by others. Even without a displayed name, details of a small class or distinctive incident may identify you. Do not include information you want to keep private. Verification email addresses are not intended to be published with reviews, but private records may be disclosed when legally required. See the Privacy Policy.
Report or appeal a decision
Use Content concerns and include the review or page URL, the specific issue and relevant nonprivate context. Authors and the people discussed may request review of a decision. We may ask for clarification; a complaint alone does not establish a violation. Requests to remove a review solely because it is unfavorable will not be granted.
